Initially we were asked to assist in developing a risk assessment protocol and to design a pilot course for Department Heads and Ward Managers of a busy NHS Trust. Following successful development of the policy and course we have now provided training, by way of highly interactive workshops, for over 150 Managers. Refresher training workshops were started in 2001. The remit of the training is now being expanded to cover others areas of business risk manangment and clinical /corporate goverance.
